Moving Forward: Biospecimens and Cancer Research

The proper collection, management, and analysis of human tissue, blood, and other biospecimens is critical to cancer research. NCI’s Office of Biorepositories and Biospecimen Research leads efforts to support development of a common biorepository infrastructure that promotes resource sharing and team science, in order to facilitate multi-institutional, high-throughput genomic and proteomic studies.
